Do you know diabetes symptoms? Diabetes symptoms can be mild or they can be severe and come on suddenly. Sometimes people with sugar diabetes have no symptoms at all. They are surprised when their doctor tests for another condition and then discovers that they have diabetes.

- Frequent urination
- Unexplained weight loss (even though you are eating and feel hungry)
- Fatigue (weak, tired feeling)

- Itching of the skin (usually in the vaginal or groin area)
- Yeast infections
- Recent weight gain
- Numbness or tingling of the hands and feet
- Impotence or erectile dysfunction
Gestational Diabetes Symptoms
With gestational diabetes during pregnancy, there are often no symptoms. Still, you may have the following diabetes symptoms:
- Increased thirst
- Increased urination
- Increased hunger
- Blurred vision
Keep in mind that most women feel hungrier and urinate more during pregnancy. So having these symptoms does mean that you have gestational diabetes. Still, it is important to get tested, because high blood sugar can cause problems for both you and your unborn child.
